We are a state-wide service that specialises in communicating and engaging with people from culutrally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. For the Health system, we provide expert advice and support to develop and deliver health information and campaigns for culturally and linguistically diverse communities. For the community, MHCS is a trusted and reliable source of translated health information.

Translation service

MHCS manages high quality health-related translations through our “value added” translation service. Dissemination is supported through our state-wide multilingual health information database.

Since 2009, Multicultural Health Week has been celebrated annually across NSW to raise awareness of health needs and address health challenges experienced by culturally and linguistically diverse communities.

Held twice a month, these online forums highlight current public health issues in conversation with health professionals. The forums are trusted source for health news and information with links to multilingual health information.
